Wellington, NZ Meet Up
Alright! This goes out to all those currently in Wellington.
I reckon there's a fair few out there. I was thinking that it might be an interesting idea to have a meet up; share a few yarns over a couple of drinks. I was also thinking that we could possibly have a game of indoor cricket (at the indoor cricket centre near the Cake Tin) after which we could venture into the City for a few drinks. The Occidental might be a good place to start. If you'd be interested, sign into this thread. If we could get 8 people then the indoor cricket's a go-er as I can easily find a half decent team for us to play against. Heath. Feel free to message me at heathdavisspeed@yahoo.co.nz as well.

Remember the last time we tried this. We all procrastinated and didn't get anywhere.
Good luck for this try though. If you can, get 16tins and Fiery locked in the same room for a few hours.

sounds like a good idea, depends on when it is. . .
though being the fact that i will be the only female, it is rather unlikely i will turn up.

Hmmm... I could see that you might be worried about the atmosphere. Especially if Voltman turns up. I'd be worried too... I'm sure I can find some other ladies to play in the indoor cricket, if that would interest you??

Personally thought it would've been a more viable idea in the summer at one of the ODIs or test matches, before uni/school started for some. Last edited by Somerset; 19-05-2008 at 04:29 AM. |

So far:
Heath Sportychic (maybe?) 16Tins Sounds like the Aucklanders need their own meet up to me! Thinking of other Wellingtonians - I think Athlai's down here these days, Bahnz is from round here, Halfpast_Yellow and several more (Voltman's supposedly on the way down here for example) |
