Should We Be Able To Cage Birds? It could be included as cruelt. So should we?

No, they should be given the full run of the kitchen & the bedroom.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."

Y'know, possibly inevitably, I read that at first as "The Austrian and Gelman men don't seem to have a problem with it..."

I own a parrot and she is well looked after and cared for.

Of course, I don't have to keep her in a cage overnight (or when I'm out of the house), but if I did parrots have a penchant to chew on things and would quite likely chew through an electrical wire and electricute herself.

Frankly, I see very little difference between keeping a bird in a cage large enough to exercise itself and keeping a dog locked up in a house.

We have a bird but it likes being in it's cage, when we are at home we let it out to fly around the house once or twice or day and it usually just sits on our shoulders or on curtin rods or something, most of the time he just flys back into his cage though.

Apparently Josef Fritzl was a bit of a ladies man in his younger days.

The locals would see him on his way out on a Friday night and proclaim "Lock up your Daughters!"

This is the kind of poll where I'd like to go irrelevent third option. However, when that third option is "Fiery was gun" it's necessary to pick one side or the other.
Stedders' Supported XI (in batting order)
NJ Kruger, *SM Katich, LA Carseldine, MEK Hussey, Mohammad Ashraful, NT Broom, AA Noffke, +Mushfiqur Rahim, Mashrafe Mortaza, DE Bollinger, WAP Mendis.
