I hate 360 because of those dreaded flashing RED lights, RROD is such an annoying thing about 360 otherwise its a such a good console, has the largest library of gaming titles, XBOX live, but RROD problem just ruins all the fun, my 360 has broken down twice in the last 2 months, i have been planning to buy a PS3 for a long time and this X-mas i am gonna do it for sure, because i have given up on my 360 now, Microsoft would tell you that the RROD problem doesn't exist anymore in the newer stocks of 360 but that ain't true as one of my friends found out a few days ago, so anyone who has to choose between a 360 and PS3, go for a PS3 unless you don't mind keep having your gaming console getting broken every now and then and then waiting for Microsoft to replace or repair it in a month' time.
I've heard about the problems. A shame because I would like to invest in a next gen console sometime later and the Xbox360 and it's price has really appealed to me lately. The problems though are worrying and I don't really want to spend so much money for something that breaks down so regularly.

Assassins Creed on 360...worth shelling out A$40 for?
If you want to do the same pretty mission a hundred times in a row, then yes.
The one, the only CW Black
Code:47.3 W Coppinger to Heads Smacked the ball straight into the groin of Iwuajoku who has fallen over, miraculously with the ball still caught in his scrotal area! Out!
Pretty much, gameplay is awesome for the first couple of missions but then it gets pretty samey, except the fights get a bit tougher. The biggest saving grace of the game is the storyline which is really one of the best in any of the games I've ever played. Then again, I'm a sucker for Crusade era stories.
Can't decide on a signature? Why not Zoidberg?

Anyone played Fallout 3? Tempted to ask Santa for it, sounds good from the reviews I've read.

I've played it a bit over the last few days, don't like it personally but maybe that's my affinity for the first two coming through.
Don't forget the cockroaches in the box...
Or something.

AC is terffic game, graphically very detailed and combat and storyline too are pretty good, but the climax is a huge let down, the game finishes at a point where you are left asking for more and a bit confused too, i guess there is sequel to this game in the making, but they could have ended the storyline for the first game in a much better way.
Mate a 360 is a ticking timebomb, no matter what you do it just breaks down, imo its just not worth it as a gamer to live under that tension that your gaming console could let you down anytime, PS3 is a far better console in terms of technology and realibilty, the PS3 gaming library is not exactly great atm but with time i am sure we would see things improving in that regard too, so PS3 is definitely a better long term option and not to forget PS3 also serves the purpose of a Blu-ray player.
It's disappointing at how unreliable the Xbox360 seems to be. But have a look at the price in Australia at the moment. You can get a 60gb Xbox360 plus 4 games for around $390, whereas a 80gb PS3 plus 2 games would set you back $680. There is a massive price difference.
On price alone I would be inclined to get the Xbox360. I've heard that they've improved the reliability of the console and the newly manufactured consoles don't break down as much as the older ones did. Hopefully this is true. Until then though, I'll probably stick to my PS2 and keep my money in my pocket for now.
