Ah through emulation. Emulate PS2 on my computer anyway (though terribly badly.)
Prefer to keep my PS2 anyway, allows me to use Swap Magic.

I have the newest firmware update for my PS3 and the discs are unsupported data still. Must mean the 80Gb PAL PS3's aren't PS2 game compatible.
EDIT: Seems the 80Gb Australian model will never play PS2 games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlaySta...configurations Last edited by dontcloseyoureyes; 07-12-2008 at 04:37 AM. |

Do not get the PS3 if you are simply getting it because of the reviews, PS3 is vastly over rated, I would wait for the next Sony gaming system or wait for the knock down price if you are a Playstation fan.
The 360 definitely has superior graphics and is extremely user friendly, they both offer internet access, 360 is a cut above PS3 because of its price and the games it offers, you get all the games and the console is cheaper. So espescially if you have a PS2 already, get the 360, don't waste your time on a ps3. Just wait till the next one is released. Thats my personal view, hope it helps. |

The Wii promotes the idea of fatties becoming fatter, its worthwile for people aged between 9-15. I would think beyond that, the other consoles are fair. I am not a huge fan of this new phenomenon of netplay but it seems to have grown with people.

Luv my 360. The woman thinks I would rather spend the night with it rather than with her though. Worrying signs.

Bought the 360, traded in my ps2 and some games at EB. Got the 60GB with gears of war, Need for speed, Indiana Jones Lego, Kung Fu Panda and GTA4 for $280. Pretty chuffed about it all TBH.
GTA4 is gun as gun IMO, just finsihed the Construction workers mission for Playboy...died three times then worked out climbing the cranes and sniping was much more effective.
