It's PC specific but Rock Paper Shotgun is still awesome.

Yeah you're not wrong, I was largely speaking in hyperbole in that post. I'm surprised that the shutting down of a gaming website has had such an emotional effect on me, especially since I haven't been a regular vistor to the site since Ziff originally sold it in 2008. Maybe it's just that I feel like I was a part of it due to growing up with their podcasts.

Anyone bought or thinking about buying an OUYA? It seems pretty cool and at that price it barely a financial risk, there's been a load of backlash against it in the gaming media because of it's ridiculous Kickstarter (and because the gaming scene hates everything popular) but most of the reviews have been reasonably positive.
I'm probably going to pre-order one this week. (For those who have no idea what I'm talking about: OUYA) |

I do have plenty of them, but I don't collect or anything. I have all of the modern ones though. In my place at the moment I have:
PS3 Xbox360 Wii-U 3DS DSi PS Vita PSP + a gaming PC. I have a black Dreamcast, a PS2 (that doesn't really work well), a Nintendo 64 and a SNES somewhere in my storage unit. I don't ever plan on using them because my PC emulates them all extremely well, except maybe the Dreamcast. |

At the moment I only regularly use the Vita, Steam on the PC and the PS3. I have a few games ready to go on the 360 and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii-U, but I've been pretty busy with work, chix etc.
EDIT: I've also been reading a ton lately. Last edited by dontcloseyoureyes; Yesterday at 08:58 PM. |

Solution = make gaming your work like these professional Starcraft blokes I've read about who get paid massive salaries or some **** to play the game. No idea how it works at all.
And then get chix to sit next to you whilst you play games like they do in LAN cafes in Asia. |

My Xbox 360 died a couple of weeks ago, and was really hanging out for today in the hope that the new Xbox would support 360 games. Gutted by the news

If you're desperate you should just get one of the newer 360's, their prices are very cheap these days. |
