    Nah, hardly ever go there.

    Extreme boredom changes people, however.

If I'm at work and nothing to do I might have a read, too many boring topics dominated by the same boring people to warrant going in there too often.

Because every thread has the same people arguing the same point over and over again. Hardly makes for exciting reading.

I do. I find it a lot less tiresome since I stuck a certain prolific poster on ignore I have to say. Better for the blood pressure.
Cricket Web's 2013/14 Premier League Tipping Champion

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Well said. The ignore button is a great help to avoid the inevitable riff-raff on such a popular forum. Sometimes it takes a little time to realise how tiresome a particular poster may turn out to be but once you have seen it its best to add to the list

For the fact remains that inspite of a large ignore list, you will still find some real great guys on the CW who not just love the game but understand it well enough to be able to discuss with clarity and knowledge. Even when one disagrees with these guys, its still such a pleasure chatting with them and reading their points of view.

Like Goughy, I am also on this site more for CC than anything else.

I used to visit OT earlier and I must admit it was great fun. Once Bob passed away, I stopped visiting after sometime and one finds it a bit more difficult to pick up the threads on OT if you are away for long than on CC.

And here I was thinking we were friends, BoyBrumby.

And I don't even have 10,000 posts yet. Hardly prolific.

Only really during the English domestic season, or when England have really got me mad with another turgid performance.

Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. Lick once and you suck forever...
