Is "custard square" Kiwi for "custard cream"? If it is they'd get my vote.

A lollycake sounds like a monstrously disgusting combination of an ice lolly and a cake.

Prefer caramel slices to these two, but Lolly Cake>Custard Square.

Tan Slices win this one easily. A biscuit, layered with caramel with cookie pieces and chocolate chips.

For those of you not from NZ, we are the world capital of 'slices'. Any cake can be turned into a slice by the highly evolved bakeries of NZ.

A Lolly Cake is a slice with bits of marshmallow and other candies smothered in your slice mix.

A custard square is a worldwide standard slice, with two layers of thick puff pastry operating as the bread in a sandwich within which the custard is the filling.

Yep. I've also heard them referred to as "snot blocks" in Australia. Gotta love that one
