Downloading aws.

Seems everything but the Ps go pretty quick. Pity, since I've already got a MIJ P-bass, looking for a bit of variety. Love the look of this one anyway though:

Sucker for that shade of yellow tbh.

Great love letter to Telecasters from GE Smith, top player.

YouTube - ‪The G.E. Smith Telecaster®‬‏

He just gets it. Telecasters are such uncomplicated, unpretentious guitars, nothing to hide behind so you get a great sense of just how good a player is from the unamped sound, let alone when they plug in. Can get such a massive range of sounds too, great for solid thunky rhythm playing, slap-and-pop funk stuff, weird arpeggios and absolutely sing when used for solos. Best guitars.

Colourphonics bass player, Shaun, dabbles in animation. Here's a how-to from a section of the animation he's doing for us.

YouTube - ‪Shaun Martin - Breakdown - Odyssey Colourphonica.mpg‬‏

Just an excuse to show off that gorgeous Fernandes Strat, tbh.

First Strymon Timelines were released yesterday and sold out within minutes. I will hopefully have mine within a month.

YouTube - ‪Strymon Timeline (Quick & Rough...My Literal First Notes)‬‏

Might even do a quick video of my own.

Bass cover of Muse's Hysteria

My first stray into the dark world of youtube covers. Got a few stuffups, but think it pretty decent compared to some of the **** already up there. Comments? Critisisms?

No covers, generally Colourphonics gear.

That and some pure s(w)h(a)r(n)e(k)d to show off my new amp;

‪Laney GT100TI - a quick demo‬‏ - YouTube

Much prefer this, my first attempt at singing one of our tracks live.

Crap video for many reasons, not least of all because it makes the gig look empty. The place was full that night!

Blimey, got some good chops there in the jackoff vid. How long have you been playing (as in practising seriously)? Not bad pipes, guess you don't sing a great deal though?

Never ask a guitarist > 30 years of age how long he's been playing for. Been doing music since I was 12 but guitar seriously since I was about 16 I reckon. Had a break of a few years in my 20's but have been at it again regularly since 25.

Was fronting the band for a while but thankfully we've found an actual singer! One of the sax players can sing so we're going to have 3-part vox in songs from now on. SHould be massive when we start hitting the gig scene again.

What kind of bass do you mostly do? How long have you been playing? Who are your main influences?

I've only been playing for 6 months. Of course I can do the easy rock songs with repetitive bass riffs but I've been trying to get more adventureous, jazz/blues etc. Which has some cool bass parts. I have an Epiphone SG.

Looking at purchasing a pedal power brick. These two are looking like good options:

The T-Rex fuel tank junior

and the Voodoo labs ISO 5

Anyone got any opinions/recommendations/experience on the matter?
