Fish vs Chips

In line with the number of other threads on here asking for tough choices when it comes to talent, which would you choose if one of them had to bat for your life? Would you go for the battered cod...the old stager with plenty of nouse and a stomach for the big battle? Or would it be the crisply fried hot young chip, full of energy but possibly looking for a fiery innings full of slippery shots and trans-fats?

If you could only put vinegar on one which one would it be?

And if a potato gets stung by a bluebottle on a particularly sunny day at the beach would applying vinegar be akin to suicide?

I'll be greedy and take both

A Potato would easily win a fight against a bluebottle BTW. I can't imagine stinging would do much to a Potato, the bluebottle would die of exhaustion.

Thank you for your well thought out answer!

What if it was Mr Potato Head?

It would be an even greater defeat for the bluebottle. No one could possibly defeat Mr Potato Head, especially the Super Fridge Magnet version. Mr Potato Head would follow the example of Ghandi and non violently crush the bluebottle into oblivion.
