My last political question for a while.

The state or the individual? Personally I find myself a bit of a fascist when it comes to social politics. But I'm interested in the response of certain members. So for the first time in one of my polls (Until Richard finds one from about a year ago with two responses) There is no irrelevant option. So which is more important the state or the individual?

So if all people should be given equal rights why should a pregnant for the 6th time to 5 fathers 53 year old binge drinker who has never worked be given the same rights as a 52 year old carpenter who has worked his whole life to the best of their ability. I bielieve people should get what they deserve.

One would assume that his work was not done for free for the glory and good of the State. Rather that he was paid for that work and that was both his incentive and reward. He already has his reward and reason for working.

What does this mean exactly? What rights do you want to deny them?

Who actually says "You know, I think I'm going to be a fascist. Discriminating and persecuting people, sounds fun to me."?

Completely irrelevent question for mine. Cant disseminate politics down to such a black and white divide.

Besides, Fascism was all about the people, massive public support given by the Fascist party in 1920's Italy, or are you confusing Fascism with Nazi-ism, because they are two completely different things (something that REALLY winds me up, Fascism was actually a Socialist idea, but History has just lumped it with the uber right Nazi racists because its easier)

And liberalism, like the glorious Labour government we live under now, is all about the people isnt it. Thats why we have a privitised NHS, a rail network that hasnt moved since 1998, and you try selling a house without having to pay for the completely pointless, hated by everyone bar Gordon Brown, £300+ a time HIPS pack.

Find me someone who can stand up and say 'I'm a Fascist through and through' or 'I'm a Communist through and through' and I'll show you a person with **** all knowledge of politics.

Amazingly Ive run into a few and they all seem to have a similar profile. Ive met them all in pubs in quite distant places from California to South Africa and they have all been Scottish and in their 50s or 60s and done nothing but whinge.

Ive met about 5 people that claim to be communists and all have fitted that profile. Make of that what you will
