Tbh, I'd say China all the time no matter what the other option is. Have been to Vietnam though and it is very nice, so I guess it really depends what kind of thing you're looking for, and where you're going to go in each place. If you're only going for a little bit, Vietnam's probably the better choice just because it's not as massive as China and you can tick all the required boxes without as much trouble or money.
Hey, thanks guys. I do photography professionally, so I guess I better have an eye for it.
Went on a long trip to the UK last year, travelled all over England (London, Hatfield, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Warwick, Birmingham, Leeds, York, Manchester, Lake District) and to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Arran in Scotland. Arran is like paradise. Great Yarmouth is the most awful place I went to by a long measure. Utterly depressing.
Speaking of Japan, here're some pics from my Japan trip. It's a magical place, and it's got the best service and the most polite people in the world.

My Cousin came back with any interesting Croatia Story:
Basically he had been at one of the clubs and was stumbling back to his hostel when out of nowhere 3 dudes grabbed him and held a knife to his throat and demanded his money. He handed over what he had (about 50 krowns(?) and they went on their way....Now my cousin is about 5'9 and 60kegs yet he thought it a good idea to take a metal bin out of it's holder and run up from behind and deck the main guy with it.
The cash fell on the ground, my cousin picked it up and ran like **** (state level 400m runner helps here)...woke up the next morning with the best part of 8000 krowns....never thought the little whippet had it in him....neither did he.

Thanks. That's Kinkakuji (The Golden Pavilion), in Kyoto. It's a Zen temple, originally built sometime in the 14th century.

Now Evermind, I like photography as well, what camera do you use for that and how did you take those awesome photos (stuff like shutter speed etc.)? I have a Sony SLR A300.
I use a Nikon D70, occasionally the old FM2, and sometimes the Hasselblad 500CM. I think the Sony should be pretty decent, though generally I stick to Nikon and Canon when it comes to digital photo equipment.
Fair critique. I usually don't use filters, but the Japan pics are taken when I first got my Digital SLR, and I went pretty wild with the Photoshop.
The later ones are better edited I think.
Anyway, here're some from India:
