Well the spanish girl I was going out with invited me...if that answers the question
Heading to Puerto Rico for a 3 month project. Pretty stoked. Although the travel back and forth each week will be a little taxing. Should probably look to pick up a bit of Spanish as well.
May even decide to head down to Peru and Bolivia if I can make the time for it. Salar de Uyuni, Machu Picchu, and the world's best pancakes await.
Five months in to my six month trip, starting with a week or so in Vietnam, three weeks in Sri Lanka (mostly for a cricket tour), five weeks in China, three weeks in Laos, and then another three months in China.
Seen some very cool stuff, but no doubts as to the best photo of the trip so far
Also, the ****'s happened to the forum?
Guys, I am visiting UK end of this month. I will fly down to Manchester on 31st (which is Saturday) early morning. I plan to go for a weekend trip to Scotland. Need to come back to Sheffield by Sunday night. Need some advice on what would be the best way to plan it. Would it be better to rent a car and drive down (I love driving when I am abroad) or just take a bus? Should I use a packaged tour or should I go around on my own (in which case what are the must see places)? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

Nah there's nothing to see up here, don't bother.
No tour group.
One of my best mates and his brother came and met me in Madrid. We were thinking of going to a music festival in Portugal but I remembered San Fermin was on at the same time
His brother went home but we hired a car and did a road trip through Barcelona, Costa Brava and then onto Pamplona for the festival. We had booked no accommodation and slept in a roundabout that was covered by trees so which had shade from the sun. One of the best trips of my life.
I haven't been all over the world but honestly Spain blew me away. I want to go back next European summer!
