I lived in Port Moresby for a while. Definitely recommended if you're into violent crime etc.

    Nice pics Burgey.

I remember going to see Scarborough Castle on a school trip as a kid. They weren't letting anyone in because apparantly some angry seagulls were nesting there and it wasn't safe. UK wildlife, more dangerous than people think.

It's a beautiful spot. It even has a sandy beach, remarkably for England. Water very cold though. Went for a paddle but not a swim. Was shorts weather though. Really had a lovely day there.

Haven't been to the States. East coast a priority to see, along with Canada.

Have been there. Highly Over-rated in terms of beaches, but great place if you like to party.

I guess it depends on your preference and what exactly you're looking for in a visit, but if it's aesthetics and nature you're after, then the East coast is not really all that. The Midwest has the best nature stuff and the West coast has the best beaches and weather. New York is obviously New York though. Everyone should visit it once if they're in the States.

P.S: Excellent pics, specially the Scarborough Castle one.

    Politics and history mainly

I hope l see most of it one day, but if I had to choose one, it would be East coast.

Mind you Yosemite and Yellowstone a must, and Sanz's pics are flat out amazing.

Thanks, btw, re the pics. Fair to say I had a great time.

Then no question East coast should be your destination. I'm a politics/history buff myself, so I can tell you it's well worth it.

Look, I'm not averse to visiting a zoo and saying hello to you monkey boy. We all know you'll just fling some poop on me though.

I'm going there next May, actually.

I'll try to avoid discussing politics.
