Rainy day here in Phuket so spent a couple of hours playing pool etc with the family in a beach bar

Bill for 4 beers, 2 cokes, satay and spring rolls came to roughly $25

Cost of having Socialette's hair braided thrown in for free

Thailand is not cheap unless you go where the locals do

Singapore is cheaper for branded stuff and GC is much less expensive

4 beers in a bar will set you back $35 minimally out here unfortunately. Closer to $50 if it's not on promotion.

Man I miss Europe and it's 3 euro beers.

Met with a group of photographers and went around Newtown taking pictures. Shouldn't have trusted some profile pictures. It was exclusively retired folk and I felt like the odd one out. Had a beer at the end of it all and left. Nice morning. Photos to follow.

Me and my friends are planning to go to spain this January. We would love to see some nice beaches with clear water and some stunning scenery. We were thinking Majorca,Ibiza and Canary Island, we are up to some adventures and experience a great nightlife in our travel. I came across this great article too here in https://www.canaryislandsinfo.co.uk/...es/maspalomas/ but i wanted to hear your thoughts first. Can anyone suggest any ideas or tips? Any help is kindly appreciated

Planning a little trip next week. Anyone got recommendations for somewhere/something to do in SEA? I've covered a lot of it but there's still so much, especially in Indonesia. I'm looking at Yogyakarta atm. Lombok also an option.

Just need a chill place to get high, maybe go trekking or something on one of the days. Not looking to sight see.

Hi everyone, I will be having a layover at Heathrow airport for 12 hours, I will be landing at Terminal 3 and my next flight would be from Terminal 5. Is this layover duration sufficient to see the city of London?
Are there any procedures for a transit visa?

    Any advice would be helpful!

Depends what time you land, but 12 hours is definitely enough to go see some of the famous landmarks.

I had 7 hours in between landing at Gatwick and flying off from Heathrow, and I managed to squeeze a couple of hours watching a Champions Trophy warmup game lol.

I didn't need a visa because I have a Singaporean passport, but if you have an Indian passport you will need a transit visa. I see that you're from the US though so you might be exempted. Check this for details - https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa/y/i...where_else/yes

Just got back from Bali and the Gili Islands. Latter was so great. Had dinner while enjoying the sunset following which we smoked up and sat by a bonfire on the beach while watching a screening of Star Wars some resort had set up. Best night. Waters are warm and really clear, excellent for snorkeling/diving etc. Didn't get to see any sea turtles although they're really common apparently, but I saw sea urchins, a lionfish, sea horses a little shark and lots of other fishes/corals. Even saw dolphins on the ferry back to Bali. Highly recommend.
