To be able to pitch a leg break consistently
![]() The only chance I have of playing county cricket is if this SARS outbreak gets one million times worse and takes out the whole country. Even then I'm sure we'd get enough South Africans on EU passports... ![]() Seriously, to get a good quality of life and to do something that makes a positive difference to the world. Which may or may not include assassination attempts on certain US political figures.

To hit a reverse sweep for 6. To bowl consistent legspin.

To remain internally happy all the times.
I don't want to tell my biggest goal as it is a very very difficult one and much needed also for a long long time. I just want to do whatever I can regarding it. I have mixed opinions regarding dreams.

Have a varied and fulfulling life, record and album (soon to happen), write a song entirely (happening), find a girl I like to spend time with and play cricket past my 50s! Oh and live past my 50s too...

I'm going to be thoroughly boring and say:
i) To have a stable family life ii) A job I find interesting, which if it happens to be well-paid I will not complain ![]() iii) Play for my University team at any sport I can manage including toss-the-caber and any other crazy sports. To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived. This is to have succeeded.

This is actually a very good topic, and I just realized I dont have any goal really
I could probably say 'make a difference in this world' or some crap like that but I dont think that will be the truth.I guess marrying a nice girl could have been one, but that I have already accomplished (a few weeks back actually ), and have a job that I somewhat enjoy doing, but I think its time I think of some goal for the future

There are a bunch of goals related to my family, personal and academic successes, but since this is a cricket forum, primarily, I'll just state my cricket goals.
1) To perhaps, some day play in the United States' International Cricket team in the big World Cup 2) See Above 3) If that doesn't work out, perhaps move to England and play other forms of cricket...maybe do college there... |
