My sister has asked me to make a webpage for her but she wants an address like www.skiracernz.com rather than through GeoCities or Anglefire where the address would be like www.geocites.com/skiracernz/.

Does anyone know where I could make a webpage like this.

i dunno if they're still around. but 250x or 450x or sumthin r pretty good. u can get sumthin like http://www.skiracernz.250x.com

Buy the domain name (if it's available).

There's likely to be someone who sells domain names in NZ or Oz (when I bought www.luckyeddie.co.uk I used a UK site called easily.co.uk).

Type in your required name and they'll give you a price list. If its a '.com' it'll cost more of course.

What you'll then have to do is 'forward' it to where your site is hosted.

My site is still really called http://homepage.ntlworld.com/j.eddie.sanders/

but the luckyeddie bit on easily.co.uk just forwards everything to my 'real' site.
