We're four hours into the new day in the UK right now and I'm loving it. This series really starts with a bang and I'm just hoping it can maintain the momentum.

The West Wing is one of those rare shows I've never heard anything but gushing praise for, yet somehow I've not seen a single episode. Reckon I need to remedy that sometime soon.

Brilliant TV though, can't wait to see how it all ends.
Yeah great show, one of the most underrated ever. Haven't started the new 24's yet, going on holiday next week so will catch up on them then.

Definitely do - although whether it will be as entrancing now that Captain Bananas is out of the White House remains to be seen...

Lost returned last night. One of the better season premiere the series has had IMO.

*SPOLIER*

Leo's death in the final season of The West Wing is incredibly sad, especially knowing that it had to be written in because John Spencer died.

New Lost series starts up here tonight, really looking forward to it. Trouble is the scheduling sadists have put it up against Generation Kill, which I was also rather keen to see.

Anyone seen GK? From the bods who brought us The Wire, apparently. Uses the deific Spread Your Love by BRMC on its trailers, which has instantly won favour with me.

Didn't have you down as a fan of Lost actually Brumby. Looking forwards to it myself, though probably won't actually watch it tonight - one of the downsides to living with your folks is not having control over the TV, but have set the Sky +

Yeah, will be plussing one or the other, but there's also Good Night, And Good Luck on BBC2 at 10.30 so something will have to give. Bastards.

& have commented on Lost before, I'm sure. Lost (ha!) its way badly, but last series was a real return to form. I think the writers deciding how they want it to end has given the whole thing more narrative drive. Pleased I'm so easy to stereotype tho!

Last series was an absolute belter tbf (another helping factor, possibly, was that it was a shorter series and therefore less filler). And I don't know why I never had you down as a fan, in all honesty.

Ha, have got it sorted. Can watch Lost on Sky 1 which finishes at 10.50 & then plus Good Night.. & Generation Kill on FX+1 at 11.00. Take that, scheduling mother****ers!!

Have said it before, but movie of the decade for mine.

Looking forward to the next season of Lost as well. Hopefully they stick to plot development and less filler or they'll quickly lose the goodwill they've generated from last season.

24 also started again, haven't watched the telemovie yet but it looks good.

Yeah, defo.
Glad I persisted through seasons 2 & 3.
