Nice. Have been seeing Deadwood mentioned here and there and was thinking of watching it. Been some time since I last watched those types of shows. Sopranos was the last one I think. Will give this one a go.

I need to pick up with Deadwood again. Season two got so, so slow.

Is he in it as Father Dougal?

In any event, finished rewatching Father Ted the other night. Genuinely an ATG, ahead of its time.

Nah his character is relatively normal, it’s mildly unnerving.

His episode was the best of the new season by far though imo. They’re in danger of overusing Uncle Colm but he’s so so funny. Also an uncanningly accurate portrayal of Tyrone folk.

Haha I don't think I could handle that tbh. Whenever I've seen him in other things, they have either been shite or I have just thought "You're just Father Dougal, stop pretending you are not, this is weird."

I hadn't heard about this until just now, but apparently he has gone on record saying that recognition of trans persons is akin to Nazism. If true, his reputation is probably more than "slightly" ruined.

Its crazy really, I do remember once saying before he went wild online due to all his incredible output I'd nearly give him a pass for anything, somehow in last few years he has lot of good will I had towards him. Shame because it was a fantastic CV.

He's very much beating a drum about trans issues on Twitter. I've long since past the point where I just glaze over his stuff, but I think he's trying to justify his stance as some weird aspect of feminism, where he's standing up for rights of women to ..... nah, i've completely lost where he's gone on it. It's that bizarre.

Line of duty return was fine if a little obvious, did not know Ryan from season 1 had returned.

Last season was very silly, but hoping Graham elevates this season.
