Fair call. Personally I don't think it was too bad, but there were moments that I wasn't enjoying watching. It wasn't a great series, but it was about a great subject, which is probably what kept me more interested.

Loved the escapism to be honest. Thought it was really witty in parts too. But yes, there probably was a bit too much melodrama involved at some points.

Season 1 was selling really cheap on Amazon a couple of months back. I almost bought it, but then I started wondering if it's one of those shows that I liked at the time but is really pretty poor. I might buy it now, seeing as it appears that my initial judgment was right.

I hear a new programme in Australia, "The Hollowmen", which appears to be a political satire has used the Bats classic song, "North by North" as the theme tune. Interesting that an Aussie satire has used a classic piece of Kiwi 80s indie-rock as their theme. I guess it earns Robert Scott some royalties though!

Saw an ad for Lipstick Jungle during the Roos v Pies game. Kim Raver (hot) AND Julian Sands (Bierko), just looks amazing regardless of knowing anything about plots or in fact any actual watching.

Bit harsh. We're only up to episode two in the series over here (the one with the little fat globby things that remind me of PacMan baddies) and her character looks to set some fairly amusing scenarios up later on.

They can't get rid of Billie Piper though, shes still hanging around in ghosty form. Obviosuly might make an appearance later in the series.

Personally want a return from K9. One of the best goodies ever on that show, along with the nuty old bloke on the Titanic episode.

Isn't that a book some hippie wrote about Don Brash?
