    Lol.

Dana just leaving without telling anyone ruined what was actually a reasonable episode.

But agree with everyone, Homeland has just lost its kick.

Ok, so I've just watched the first season of House of Cards in about a day and a half lol. I think it's my favourite series ever...the subject matter and the execution couldn't be more perfect.

I read that it is was originally a UK series. How does that one compare for people who've seen both?

I've only seen the original UK series, which was brilliant. Ian Richardson in the lead role was quite outstanding.
I really must get around to seeing the newer version, as everyone I know who's see it has said the same as you. But I'd recommend that you do likewise with the original if at all possible.

It's very different, but written by the same guy. The main difference I think is the origins of the main character, in the Yank one he's from an undistinguished family, and partly motivated by dragging himself to the top. Whilst in the Brit one he's an Old School establishment character. Which does change the dynamic a lot, the wife in the Brit one is just a cipher too. The American one had many more episodes though, so as is often the case they need more writing, for minor non-existent roles in the Brit versions. 4-episode mini-series in the UK.

I prefer the Brit one, but that's probably just down to parochialism. Richardson and Spacey both superb in the central, but very different leads.

Give it a go, it's not long and Dobbs (the writer) was a Thatcher aide, so you'll probably like him.....

All about Hollyoaks of late for me, can't wait until Sienna gets collared

It's the best it's been since Justin (the one who looks like Freddie Flintoff) sought revenge for the death of his sisters

I've never seen Dr Who, but I know there are fans on CW. Anyone seen the Google game on the front page in honour of 50 years of Dr Who? Pretty cool.

Yeah the game was fun, shame about this stultifyingly dull episode, honestly Billie Piper is there a worse actress in the history of the world?

well it was saved a bit by my fave doc turning up near the end

So um DOCTOR WHO SPOILERS BELOW

Can anyway explain why they went from a TBC rescuing Clara from the Doctors mind where they introduced John Hurt, to a 50th episode featuring John Hurt, Clara etc and being all like "lets go stop the time war yay!" and everyone is blissfully unaware she's meant to be trapped or dead or something? And isn't Smith meant to be killed off shortly?

    What's going on?

What I didn't understand was that going from Gallifrey being time locked to just sealing it in another time lock and then hiding it somewhere else but this time without the Daleks?
