Finally caught up to the end of Season 3 of Boardwalk Empire. What a breathtaking show it is.
With the shows coming out now, we're at the greatest period in decades for the quality of tv shows we're getting IMO.
Death of the indie movie ==> quality long form television. The upper echelon shows are very novelistic, and like a novel, they don't worry if everyone 'gets it' (more people get it than are given credit for anyway), which is fantastic.
What does everyone else think of Don's redemption?
Oh and Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" was a nice touch at the end.

Highlights to the season was Sally walking in on Don, the merger, Bob and the historic events.

Its amazing how Don is such a prick but most if not everyone still feels for him. Everyone was starting to lose their attachment to him throughout the season (intentionally done by the writers) and then there is that scene with Hersheys when you are like WOW!
Sally was amazing this season.
