You'll keep liking it if you don't over-analyse it and constantly ask yourself if you should still be liking it. It's definitely not as good after that though.

Writing tails off massively and it just becomes increasingly stupid and far-fetched for mine. It's still enjoyable if you don't take it too seriously, but it's never as good as the first 4 seasons. Has a totally different atmosphere to it somehow.

Ah, I get it now. Will probably hold off watching the series until they've announced they're finishing the show just to see how it ends up.

Waiting for Breaking Bad to finish or for them to announce an end date? If it’s the later, then that’s already been done and the last 6 (8?) episodes will air sometime this summer.

The Breaking Bad hiatus is driving some sections of the internet a bit loopy

I was reading about bath salts and the chemistry of meth the other day and had an interesting idea for a twist in the show - what if it turns out that Heisenberg's blue meth isn't really methamphetamine? There are some quasi-legal research chemicals you can order out of China that will test positive as containing meth but don't. Walt would still have to deal with the tax evasion and other crimes he committed, but it might be easier to defend himself if he does like Skyler told her old boss and just cut them a check before they investigate too deeply. Walt IS supposed to be a genius at chemistry and it wouldn't surprise me to find he could make something very similar to meth that was clearly not meth if you tested it correctly.

Quality first episode. I'm in for the season. Perhaps this show will wipe away the bad taste of Homeland's disappointing sophomore season off my mouth.
