Beric Dondarrion was already in the show in season 1 actually. Unless they're re-casting him, since I don't think he had more than like one line.

I don't think they need to use Ramsay in season 3. He's a very minor character for the time being after all. Correct me if I'm wrong but he doesn't appear in the books for quite a while from here. He's been mentioned already in season 2, we should see what happens in the finale this week but if he's not on screen yet he probably doesn't need to be for a while.

How are they going to do deal with the Reek situation for the next couple of years?

That's a big question for this week coming, but it's a non-event after this week, like I said. He doesn't appear for quite a while. Will be interesting to see how they handle Winterfell though.

Oh. Yeah I'd imagine so. They did the same thing with other characters after all. Beric was in one scene in the first season and will be back in season three, Gregor is in a similar boat etc.

Yea, but this guy is a bigger deal. Maybe a few scenes ala Jaime? Or they could recast - would make a little sense considering his state.

Interesting, this ep got the lowest ratings of the season. Maybe due to the NBA playoffs? They hyped this ep more than any other.

The Memorial Day holiday means less people watching the episode "live". If you compare the episode's numbers to last year's, it actually improved. Also, keep in mind that the majority of HBO viewers don't necessarily watch the episode live. They have around a 100 repeat episodes they can watch, as well as HBO on demand etc. By the time the week is over, the episode would have been watched by the usual 10 million people.

Regarding Mad Men, I liked the latest episode but was troubled by the Joan storyline. I just didnít buy that she would act the way she did. The article below captures my feelings on the subject perfectly. Compared to the Joan storyline, I thought the Peggy plot was superb. I completely bought that at this point of her life, thatís the way she would act and thought the storyline was true to her character. Her final scene with Don was just immense.

As much as I love AGOT, the Daenerys storyline is just as **** in the show as it is in the book.

Also, it's been ages since I've read the early books, but have they brought some stuff forward in the show? Some of it just doesnt feel like it happened that long ago

So, am I the only one watching Episodes then? I keep talking to people at work about it and no-one has even seen it once. Tucked away on BBC2 on Friday nights, Matt le Blanc playing himself (or a particularly narcissistic and promiscuous version) is inspired, the two British leads just perfect and if it's too subtle for most Americans, to judge from a lot of the comments on IMDB, well so's cricket of course. Described as 'the bastard son of Extras and Curb Your Enthusiasm', I'm not so sure that's a bad thing.

I watch Episodes but I wouldn't say it's similar to Curb and Larry David is just awesome so no comparisons there. Does remind me of extras though, which is quite a generous comparison. Nice subtle comedy which doesn't do anything that OTT.
