Just had this on Sky in New Zealand. An excellent series. Great acting, an interesting premise and exciting storylines. Best cop show to come out of the US since the Donald Pleasence episode of Columbo.

    Certainly better than Diagnosis: Murder

Columbo was ruined by the fact you saw the murderer at the start. Plus it wasnt on at Student breakfast time (3pm)

No. It was ruined by the fact that even if you missed the murder at the start, you always knew who the murderer was cos it was the Famous Person.... The one that Columbo always has "Just one more thing..." to ask.

But Mrs Columbo... she was summin else!

Yeah he was. Pretty much every Van Dyke around was in Diagnosis Murder at some point though.

Have to say it just isn't the same when Murder She Wrote is on in that slot.

I loved it when it first came out. Couldn't bear to watch a couple of seasons later.

Just finished the first season of Dexter (cheers Smith), really good show. Never seen anything like it on TV and the show has a really great theme and the first season's running plot was awesome as was each episode and especially the climax.
