'Copperfield,' said Mr. Micawber, 'farewell! Every happiness and prosperity! If, in the progress of revolving years, I could persuade myself that my blighted destiny had been a warning to you, I should feel that I had not occupied another man's place in existence altogether in vain.

I like the symmetry of Desmond being the person who seemingly is aware of both worlds and must now attempt to…destroy one? Does it seem to anyone else that the castaways will perhaps be given a choice as to which world they want to live in? I think both worlds will exist in the end. It was nice to see Charlie and Faraday as well. Awesome episode overall. Will be crying my eyes out at the finale.
Again, apologies for such a delayed post regarding a TV episode but it can't help our delay in the screening.
Absolutely agree that this week's episode of Lost, the Desmond centric, was brilliant. In fact, all episodes focused on Desmond have been some of the highlight episodes throughout the history of the show. Knowing that their flash-sideways life is beginning to show glimses of their "first" life was a huge twist and I'm really looking forward to the next few episodes to see if that continues.
Agreed.

Amy Pond the hottest Who girl ever? Yes IMO.

Really enjoying the series so far. Not sure if its on TV here yet because I've been using other ways so I'll try not to spoiler it. I like Moffats ways of making you look at everything closely, and finally there's going to be a Dalek comeback in the future thats actualy believeable as opposed to "NYAH!!! you missed one last ship Doctor you loser! LOLZ in your face!"

However, Smith has already shown that he can do the serious side of things well and is actually really entertaining whilst clowning around. And the new assistant, already prefer her to Rose/Martha/Donna, and not just to look at. It's set everything up perfectly and like you say, it looks like the rest of the series should be a ripper and not totally blow. Really surpassed expectations so far, really looking forward to the next episode.

Amelia though, freckles, red hair, good smile, and that's just the head

The whole show seems to be shot in a more cinematic way as well. Was dead impressed with the composition and lighting, especially a close up of the Doctor early on in the episode when he's in the garden with young Amelia. New opening credits and theme (that happens for every Doctor iirc) are gun as well. Just can't wait until the next episode, haven't been this excited about the series since John Simm turned up as the Master.

Edit: was discussing this with a friend last night, and she made a good observation that if you were given free reign over a Doctor Who episode/series, you'd want to bring the Daleks in as well. Have to agree with that.

I'm still trying to figure out how they had three faces on a two sided object.

    I loved Liz Ten.

The weeping angels this week should be nice and creepy.

loled at Tracy in the latest 30 Rock.

This is bad, because I can't change. I'm like a chameleon; always a lizard!

Parties are like frisbees, if you throw them the wrong way, they'll veer off in a bad direction, and then your kid will fall into a quarry.
    What?
Don't throw a party for vengeance. It'll turn on you, like your wife, after your kid has fallen into a quarry

Itchy & Scratchy Land episode of Simpsons was on tonight. The whole thing was just fantastically written, start to finish, as well as great animation (in terms of facial expressions) on top of that.

She made staying up for the uncut version worthwhile. I've never had so much fun at 9:30pm.

Am enjoying watching 'The Inbetweeners' at the moment. Thought the first and last episodes of the first series were a bit slow, but the rest have been very funny. Have the last episode of the 2nd series to go.
