Raikkonen wins the Malaysian Grand Prix
Kimi Raikkonen scored his first ever formula 1 gp win today. well done to him, mclaren win their 2nd race in a row and all looks good for the drivers and or constructors titles to go back to Mercedes this year. Schumacher another bad day finishing in 6th.
Also well done to Fernando Alonso for gaining his first ever podium position with the spainiard finishing in 3rd place after starting in pole. All in all another non ferrari win, the future of formula 1 looks great. |

Well I made a point of getting up early to watch the race live, and I must say that from my view the rule changes have made things much more interesting!

Its not the best driver or team who wins, more like the luckiest...If I was schumacher i would retire in protest... True it evens things up, but we will probably get some really random person who has had an average season win the championship, because there will be no clear winners |

It's a much more even race, and I'm sure Ferrari will work out strategies soon, but in the meantime, it's good to see some other winners.
Besides that, the 2 races have both been won by good drivers in good cars. Schmacher was his own worst enemy today, not the rules. |

Rich, that's utter rubbish mate!
Schumacher would have had a very good chance of winning today if he hadn't have screwed up and gone straight into the back of Trulli at turn two leading to 1) pit stop for new front wing; 2) drive-through penalty 3) screwed pit strategy. And Raikkonen's hardly been average this season.. he's going some way towards showing Coulthard up for the useless Scottish waste of space that he is

rich, ferrari are still the best team, no doubt. sounds like you are a sore loser, a ferrari fan who cant hack losing. schumacher could have easily won the first 2 races, but driver errors have cost him both times, the rules are certainly making it closer but ferrari have been their own worst enemy this season, and as we have seen in recent seasons if you dont get early momentum in the championship you wont go so well.

No I dont like Ferrari and cant stand Schumacher, my mum raves about him. I used to support Hakkinen and Maclaren until he went. Ive never watched it in any great depth, just casually when it was on, and all this just seems a very very odd way to run a sport. Time will tell, but if Schumacher who is still without question the best driver doesnt get a few podiums in, I think some very serious questions ought to be asked |

I feel most sorry for Justin Wilson. He almost got paralised because of a device that a lot of the drivers didn't want. It dug into his nerves, causing him so much pain he couldn't even cry! How he drove for 41 laps like that, I'll never know, but it took some guts.

rich you have to realise that the first races schumacher didnt win basically because of driving errors, yes the rules are making it closer, but in motor racing people crash, cars fail and sometimes drivers just have off days. I would still be extremely surprised if anyone other than michael schumacher wins this years drivers championship.
i think you can still not get odds for anyone else lower than 10/1. having said that remember he did come 4th in Australia which is still better than 16 other cars did. |

From Eurobet:
M Schumacher - 1/2 Barrichello - 5/1 Raikkonen - 11/2 Couthard - 8/1 Montoya - 16/1 R Schumacher - 25/1 Anyone else 100/1 + With 1/3 odds for 1st or 2nd, that makes DC and Montoya look good each way bets to me... |
