Its one thing if you don't find the humour particularly funny, but how can you call Seinfeld talentless? They did something totally different, and made it a success. One of the biggest successes ever.

Raymond not even in the same class as Seinfeld or Curb btw, both in type of humour and class, though the second is obviously IMO. Its just a weird grouping, Curb, Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond?

Sure i've explained before, but I dislike Ricky Gervais because at first, he was just an annoying ****. Saw him on the 11 o Clock show, and all he did was really, really **** masturbation jokes. Then they gave him his own chat show, where all he did was talk over his guests, with rubbish anecdotes that always ended in masturbation (not physically mind)

Avoided The Office purely because of him, whenever I did see it didnt find it overly funny. Never been a fan of cringe comedy, dont see the fun in watching others suffer (unless i'm making them suffer, I am 68% evil after all)

Edit: Found it, this avatar doesnt jump out as much as the old one, shall change back soon (though i've got an avatar bet on in the English Footie Thread regarding Liverpool and Utd's Champions League progress)

I agree he's turned into a bit of a nob since his massive rise to stardom.. I wouldn't call him a genius personally, but the entire package is, and he feeds off young Merchant and Pilkington during their radio shows.. Who are absolutely class themselves

Because of your avatar, I heard this in a frustrated George Costanza voice in my head. I laughed.

Seinfeld is the greatest sitcom ever. CYE is also brilliant, but it rides on the back of Seinfeld. A large part of the funniness is the premise.

All these years on, and Curb still better.

Louie is absolutely amazing, but its way too deep to be called a sitcom. Seinfeld specifically had "no hugging no learning", just piss-taking and observational humour the whole way through.

You learn **** from watching Louie.
