Speaking of Bhangra, went all out on the dance floor (as did everyone else) when this song came on at a wedding reception I was at last week.

Notorious Jatt - Randy J Ft. Prabh Gill (Lyrics: Maninder Kailey) - YouTube

Yeah, the Punjabi songs and Bhangra have gone to Canada alongwith the large migration of population from Punjab over the years, and become quite popular there. And Now that's coming back to India from there and UK in fusion form as Indi - Pop music and Fusion Bhangra.

Yeah, the South Asian community in the UK really revolutionized Bhangra in terms of music. And then it made its way here where it gained prominence at many nightclubs.

But even more than that, Bhangra as a dance form really evolved here in North America through University competitions, which have now become a mix of College teams and privately owned ones. Surprisingly, the UK hasn't really produced Bhangra teams of the same caliber despite their success with the music.

Haha, I may actually post it, once I get a copy of the video. I'm sure most of CW will have a good laugh.

You'd better not just post a video of Hrithik shaking a leg

Punjabi MC were Uk based or US?
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

He's UK based. Most mainstream 'western bhangra' artists are from the UK or Canada. The US hasn't really produced many, at least none that immediately come to mind, except Bohemia who's based out of Cali.

    Abhijeet?

Why would anyone hate Sonu Nigam? He's a pretty good singer. Abhijeet, on the other hand, I can understand.

Sonu Nigam's acting performance in Jaani Dushman was the height of cinematic excellence. Fact.
