    Computer Geeks In The House?

    I've just downloaded a game off the internet, it to 7 HOURS!!! But know when i double click on the icon it just comes up with a black window, and then quickly dissapears? How can I solvew this, or is it just broken game?

    umop 3p!sdn, re: your reported post saying it wasn't illegal, to me this seems like a classic case of that. If you can provide the link or some expanation to show it is legal then I'm happy to keep the thread open though.

    Does it really matter? It's not as if software companies are keeping an eye on the Cricketweb OT forum looking for offenders is it.

    The way game downloads normaly work is via a drive emulation system such as *removed*. Any torrent you download should include a ROM file which once downloaded should be opened in deamon tools as a virtual CD and installed from there. Most torrent files come with a notedpad file explaining this.

    It does matter because it's illegal, simple as. Go talk to someone over MSN about things like that, but James has good reason to not want his site to become a medium to discuss illegal stuff.

    Yes it does matter, CW does not condone software piracy or any illegal activities and whether anyone is watching makes very little difference. All links have been edited out.
