Get used to it I say lol, you would think that when your playing for money people would take it the least bit seriously. Wrong. The majority of the online poker world consists of impulsive gamblers who have no concept of poker whatsover. After suffering bad beats(as above) and subsequently getting felted I just rest assured knowing that I made the right play and put all my chips in as a commanding favourite. My anger is reserved for when I personally make a ****-up, lol

Had an absolutely shocking days tournament poker today, people calling raises with crap as usual, people not understanding the concept of tournament survival i.e pot committing themselves with draws, so sickening. Here's some of the highlights lol(mostly lowlights). These are all real money hands too which makes it all the more depressing, lmao...

This guy couldn't let go of a draw lol

This one just plain couldn't put him on a hand and was utterly confused, hadn't seen him play a single pot and didn't seem to me as if he had a set. A5 suited I thought maybe but then why the donk lead after the flop...

That last one still makes me laugh so hard. I had already seen the hand before so had made my mind up that if this guy bets i'm calling anything if he's got ace-rag then so be it. Couln't believe he just checked it right down lmao guess I should have bet but had no idea what he had so was content to check down alongside this super-fish.

I'd be shoving the turn there rather than only betting for half his stack. The pot's too big for you to fold the river anyway, no matter how scary the next card is. He'd probably fold. Fish are usually too ashamed to play a weak drawing hand face-up.

    Tough beat nonetheless .

Yeah lol well I had actually put him on an overpair judging by the way he came out me so it seemed to me that he was shipping it either way and yea since his bet gave both of us no fold equity whatsoever I didn't think twice.

Liking the 6 handed NL game at the moment still in a bit an Omaha rut lol but can't stand the 10-seater NL games after today too many french noobs, when you've played a few hours of an MTT and the blinds are getting high and you know you cannot afford to make a single marginal call then all of a sudden you get donked it really sits you back in your seat haha, to say the very least

Yeah, it's infuriating. Or running into a cooler. Such an anger-inducing game sometimes.

I'm running good on HU SNGs at the moment. Nowhere to hide for atrociously bad opponents.

Yeah I enjoy them too, bad players are easy enough to dispose of but I find you can still lose to average players by catching unlucky cards. I remember the last heads up match I had was against an average player blinds were really slow went for ages whenever I put him all in he had the better ace an so on after half an hour or so he gets back to almost even the calls my all I have JJ he shows Q-9s and rivers the 3 outer. Was in the first round of shootout comp and I haven't felt like going back to HU since

I haven't actually run into a cooler for quite some time(worrying), when i've gone down i've either classed it as a rank play by myself or a standard donking. I remember not long ago saying on here I could lay down big hands, well I think it was the next day when i flopped a set of 9s from UTG on a drawy 7c-Jc-9s board in a raised pot with one caller(UTG+1). I bet straight out and got called to see an evil 10s hit the turn. Well I bet about the pot again got put all-in and was too happy about flopping a set to fold lol, my thought process was - well if he's got pocket 8s then good on him lol - he turned over jd-8d.
Learnt a big lesson in that hand to check when there's one card to straight on the board, lol.

Saw a nasty cooler on PKR's biggest live cash game today.
Blinds $5/$10 a PKR pro is stationed in the cutoff($3k stack) raises to $30 and gets called by BB($1.2k stack).
Flop 9-9-8. BB checks, cutoff bets $40 gets called. Turn comes 5.
BB checks, cutoff makes it $95, BB then raises to $240, cutoff then re-raises to $575.
BB flat calls, river comes obvious brick and BB moves all in and gets snapped called.
BB shows a turned boat and cutoff shows a flopped boat. Funny to watch lol

bryce - don't avoid the filter. That sort of language is unacceptable on these forums.

I have been playing terribly lately and that hand just didn't help. I seem to have no determination to play consistent poker online yet and constantly tilt and play spewy when I know I'm doing it as well! If only I had the determination like other grinders to really knuckle down.

AWTA. I'm the exact same aye man. I think it is because of the huge range of players you come up against online and you never have any sort of clue what your up against and next to no reads. With most high stakes cash players they are often up against people who's styles they are the least bit familiar with, but in low-limit that is inconceivable. That's also one of the reasons I was keen on CW games because even though we have never met at least I know for certain that i'm not up against complete idiots, lol. I think I would go alot better live, and if the same thing still happened then I guess all that would be different would be me waiting for them in the carpark

I think my biggest problem is when i've been at the computer for hours I go onto an autopilot sort of mode. Take this hand for example, now near the start of this tournament I tossed away kings on the river faced with a scare card and a big bet. Now this hand below is a couple of hours later when i'm 5 places out from making the money and i'm thinking to myself - what did he call my raise with & is leading out at me with - my conclusion is a set or a flush. Yet a couple of hours after laying kings down I cannot do it this time round as my reckless mouse clicking takes over. I kept trying to convince myself that he had an overpair smaller than mine, yet I knew if he did then he would have more than likely re-raised me pre-flop. If I stopped and thought at the turn I could have said right i've still got 60% of my stack i'm pretty certain i'm beat. But couldn't swallow my pride so deserve what I get I guess. Sure his A-9 call is ****in' crap but he could have easily had a bigger suited ace. Meh
