What are peoples tactics on here when they come across say, A-3.. A high card and a low card, is that an automatic fold? What about a low pair, such as 6-6.. Is it worth raising early to get rid of the other cards?
Heads up, go ridiculously aggressive.

Made a full tilt account. On the first few days I was playing (to be quite honest) awfully. Today, I managed to regain some form. During a sit-and go, there was a player on my table who kept on going all-in with anything of K-8, to 4-2. I had AK, so I called her all-in. She had K8 offsuit. She then rivers a flush, I'm as sick as anything now, by losing against a complete and utter fish.

Are you talking about heads up? Heads up, A-3 is a re-raisable hand. Your range expands, and while you should fold quite a bit (though not too much) out of position, you need to raise a very very large percentage of hands while in position. While the default mode in a full ring game should be to fold, the default mode in a heads up game should be to raise. That doesn't mean you should go crazy with J2, but you need to be raising more often than you fold in heads up.

In a nine/ten man game, A-3 is a fold unless you are defending your blinds, or in the button trying to steal blinds, or you are getting some really juicy pot odds (e.g, you have antes and an unraised pot is big already).

Fun hand from earlier. He really should be folding the flop despite how aggro our "relationship" is...

I don't understand the reraise to all in on the flop. I don't think most people would be that aggressive with top pair only, which is the only 'big' he has beat, or a flush draw. He didn't have any club. Calling the $222 raise would be smarter, and then check-calling is better. It looks like a cash game so any money you can save by getting down with a pair would be smart. This is a six man table, so you do have to be more aggressive but I don't like that play.

Since IPreferFox was BB, he could have even hit two pair, if his intentions were just to defend his blinds with that call (though a 9-5 holding is very unlikely obviously).

Maybe its better in retrospect, but I am not sure if I'd play the hand like that unless it was a set over set or something, which is very hard to get away from (I don't think I am good enough to let it go that flop).
