Do you have PokerTracker? If not then get it.... when you get it let me know what ur VPIP% (voluntary money put into the pot) and your Preflop raise%.

Good luck at the tables. Also join Cardrunners... couldnt recommend it more.

Yeh i realised that in the last two days, the first 3 sessions i had on a short-handed table I seemed to be on a massive card rush (and ended up quite a bit) but the last 4 times i've played i've hard average cards and played a lot less.

I can't get poker tracker unfortunately, it costs money and i don't have an online bank account, i tried a pirate copy of torrentspy but it was a failure.

For the same reason i can't join card runners, but i am a member of railbirds.com and pokerjunkie.

He had K5?! Jesus, even the 10-25c players play better than that, that's hideous.

Oh, and playing your normal stratgey in a heads up game is completely futile. Don't do it.

If by shorthanded you mean about six players, than 40% is a bit much. If you mean like three players, than 40% is more than reasonable.

Won a game against my two brothers and my Dad a minute ago. I took mark first then dad and then I manipulated my older bro and won.

yep. Remember though though with two pair on the board and two people going all in don't rely on a straight o.k

Don't understand the playing of the second hand - when you're approaching the bubble you want to tighten up.

Not paticulary, you had 3000 left which would have been enough to cover the small blind and the antes for the next rotation and wait for people to be knocked out.

And why did you call someones all in with AQ? You were close to the bubble there aswell with a lot of chips left, not much point in calling someones all in for a big proportion of your chips with a marginal hand when you've got enough to make the top 50 anyway.

Wasnt playing for the top 50, could have sat out if i wanted to do that, the guy was pushing on ace rag all night, so it was an easy call. I wasnt playing for the top 50, was playing for the win. If i had have folded and someone else called and i would have won, i would have been just as angry with myself.

And by the way, AQ isnt a marginal hand. If you would fold AQ against an all in bet, i would love to play you for money. On the flop i was favourite to win the hand. 52.32% of the time i would have won. Just got unlucky

Well correct me if i'm wrong but you don't get any money for finishing first in a freeroll sattelite?

And yes, i would fold AQ pre-flop to a reasonable all in bet playing in a ring game and in the later stages of a sattelite tournament when i've got 22 times the BB, pretty much every time. Against an under pair you're 47% to win, against QQ KK AA AK you're in terrible shape, even if he's a maniac i wouldn't put most of my chips in calling with AQ, and being angry with yourself when you folded a hand you would have won is a really bad idea, i play J7o once in a lightyear, if i folded it 10 times in a row and every time the flop came 89T i'd still fold it the next time.

Just did a marathon Limit sit'n'go's in AC. It was fantastic, came back $5400 richer ($5000 after subtracting costs). I got lucky with one sit n' go when I kept on hitting my outs, but other than that, I don't think I've played any better in maybe 7-8 months.

Heads up, I totally destroyed my opponents. It felt good. Playing NL for so long, I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy playing Limit poker. So many more morons playing Limit it seems, and I think I have more natural instincts when playing Limit (except when playing against Chan, that guy is Satan).

I'm impressed with that profit, i had you pegged down as a bit of a dire tournament player

See any big names down there?
