WTF? Voltman walked-out because of the new Mods? When did this get revealed?

I'll edit that. It's not really a "disgrace" as it was his decision to leave but it shouldn't have come to that

I'm sorry to see you go Sam, never really spoke to you over the years, some people say about the 'dumb blonde' routine, never noticed it really. On the upside of your departure is possibly the funniest post i have seen in a while

Alas, poor Samantha as she was called by Richard. She was blonde and talked about cricket (about cricket, Amen). Just like the build up of Aluminium in the bloodstream to cause Parkinsons, the constant barbs from other members at the CricketWeb site built up in her heart (in her heart, Amen) until she could take no more. Her site membership expired peacefully in her sleep.

She is survived in the signature of nightprowler which makes him either look like some kind of pervert (kind of pervert, Amen) or his body clock may well be ticking towards middle age.

It is to my regret that I did not know Samantha.

Weary traveller, your life's just started
It is quite sad, ere soon we're parted

Mr Davis, your a better comedian than a bowler.

I also never really spoke to you Piper, but sorry to see you go, I laughed at many of your posts

    Good luck
    You know it makes sense.

Incorrect. Voltman never once mentioned the new moderators in his goodbye post. He just broadly mentioned the moderation team.

Yes I can't find it, I would have thought a long standing members last post would be left in tact even if it was a little critical of certain members or policy

    Ah! Alas, alack!

We may not mourn the passing of Brother Voltman. He passed on like Ships in the Night, on to a better place - possibly Melbourne? He wrote of the life and times of Trotting horses in the local newspaper, also known as the local 'rag'. He berated me once regarding rugby and my lack of knowledge on qualification rules (qualification rules, Amen)

We mourn the passing of Brother Volt
In the act of leaving, he looks like a Dolt

It was James decision to delete Voltman's final message and James has stated that we shouldn't be discussing it on the forums so anyone who wants to know more will have to email him I guess.

Well it is his site, and I don't know what the post contained, but surely we could have an edited version? And a chance to say goodbye to a long standing member, who was a lot of help to me personally and to the site in general

That's a down right lie and you know that - especially after our email discussion. No one forced him out, he chose to leave of his own accord, and why this has to be brought into Piper's thread is beyond me.

I'll leave this thread open out out of respect to Piper for the moment. Hopefully it won't have to be closed due to this discussion continuing.

Anyone who wants reasons should talk to Voltman directly.

Jesse (SL™), Goff, Robbins, Edmunds, Fitzsimmons, Young, now Sam and Manju... the list goes on.

Karthik (Deja moo), sledger and le a while ago too...

And obviously Murphy and Burpey gone too...

    It's such a crying shame.
Hmm... haven't been around regularly for a while. Hope you can translate some of these for me.
