Best Beatles Album
Had a bit of a Beatles weekend, with some good TV devoted to the 40th anniversary of Peppers, and then teaching the babies the words to Abbey Road (they loved it of course). But I was thinking, Peppers has never been my favourite Beatles album, great though it is. What are the thoughts of CWers? Particularly interested in the views of Gelman & Matt79.
Please note that the poll I have included only contains the eleven albums they released when together. Magical Mystery Tour was originally an EP (i have the second 45 of it ) and Yellow Submarine isn't a proper album. Vote accordingly. edit - I know in the States the albums were a little different, and I'm not sure about Oz. Well that's tough, the UK titles are the real ones

I refrain from voting on the account that a Best Of CD didn't make the cut

Sgt Pepper for mine.
Because it's the best known fabs album I think there's almost a tendency to underrate it & say "well it's good, but surely it can't have been that special", but it bloody was, you know. My top three would be: Sgt Pepper Revolver The White Album Don't rate Let It Be at all, really. The original version was ruined by Spector's production & I haven't been sufficiently arsed to buy the "naked" version.
