    Desert Island

You're stranded on a desert island, you have a portable cd player and can only pick 3 albums to have with you, what are they?

    Mine:

Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West The first album that I really loved.

The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow Great selection of songs, my favourite Smiths' album, containing my favourite Smiths' song - This Charming Man

Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation Best album from one of my all-time favourite bands
    penis

    Dream XI: M Hyder, J Linker, M Clock, S Wetsin, A Simms, A Golcrhist, B Hugg, S Worde, B Leap, J Giuseppe, G MacGrith

Rage Against The Machine - Battle Of Los Angeles
The only band i can listen to any time, any day, any mood. One of the only albums i own where i can listen to it from start to finish without skipping a track
    Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Brilliant album, and another that can be listened to from start to finish. Currently my favourite band.
    Tool - Lateralus
    Amazing album, amazing band.

If they have to be actual albums rather than compos I'd go:

    Astral Weeks - Van Morrison
Five Leaves Left - Nick Drake
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
    - As featured in The Independent.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."
