I don't think eradicating is the way to go but there should definately be harsher penalties for people who are irresponsible owners. They can be a dangerous dog and anyone who buys one should know what they are getting themselves into. You hear so many stories about how a pitbull escaped and attacked someone. If the owners were responsible enough and kept them locked up when they're not around and under supervison when they are then there would be no problem. They should also limit the amount of pitbulls someone can own because they are often kept in "packs" of 3-4 which leads to an aggressive nature as they often fight with one another.

It's not my thread firstly, but this is the Off Topic section of the site which allows things that aren't cricket to be discussed. I'm surprised you figured out how to use an avatar and a sig but not that. That's weird. Welcome to the forum though.

OK. Thanks for the welcome. I just had a quick look at the thread and your post is still useless.

It's people who breed them to fight and kill. I think they should not be eradicated. It would be inhuman.

I'd either do that, or make super-strict licenses on owning them, so it is very difficult, and you would need to have the right training.

Because cars serve a extremely useful purpose; pitbulls don't. I'd think that's fairly obvious.

Haha, was watching Season 1 episodes of Family Guy earlier. There's a headline in the background 'Pitbull attacks single engine Cessna' with a picture of a pitbull biting into the wings of a Cessna in flight.
