Happy birthday to the big guy. Pity he's not around as much anymore.

Yet he is still narcissistic enough to check back just on his birthday so as to see what recognition is here.

Thanks guys.

I just checked the age on the index, and you're 20!? Thought you were closer to my age.

Why thankyou, yes, I do take rather good care of myself, watch what I eat, moisturise, exercise, lay off the booze, abstinence...

Among the glut of birthday threads, one finds it increasingly difficult to write a birthday salutation that is both warm and refreshing, like a morning wee, so I thought I'd aim for something different to decorate my favourite Japanese haafu shinseijin's day with a touch of class. And what would be better than a small heartfelt tribute.

Dawg, Mr. Kenneth (1987-)

Kenny, I'll always remember the way you showed up at CW, still doing high school in Yamaguchi prefecture. And I don't mean just doing high school, I mean you were really doing it, if the tales you regaled me with are any compass of personal achievement. I have to confess I always green with envy and small patches of grass stains.

But things change, and so do people, and so have we. Though my physical appeal has increased exponentially in the years hence, yours has slowly started to wane, even more so now as the decades column increases by a single and Father Time's rapacious appetite begins to ravage your human form.

People thought we'd never be able to get along again, not after you cheated on me with that goat, but we showed them, didn't we? And I wish you the most pleasurable life one can attain working the arable lands of Sudan. I hope that you have many lovely children together, and that, if by chance fortune isn't so kind to you in wealth as it has been in physical endowment, that you extract a truly tremendous price for one of them when Madonna is next in town. Happy birthday, Kenneth.
