http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/04/16/vte...ing/index.html

This morning two shootings took place at Virginia Tech, a college in US. According to CNN this is the deadliest on campus shooting in US history. According to the cops, the shooter him self is dead.

There is video on CNN of the shooting recorded by one of the students and his cell phone camera.

Really sad, the whole town has been shut down

Dear God, that's just horrible. Thoughts go out to the families of the victims. Really not much more you can say.

Some people are wankers.

Thoughts go out to the families affected.

This is the second shooting at the school over the last year. There was one in aug, and there was a reported bomb scare at the school last week

It's up to 31 people killed now

According to a guy I know who goes to V Tech, this is the story and what happen according to him

At 8 am there was a single shooting. It's believed it was an arguement between a BF/GF and the guy shot the girl and ran away. They put the school on lock down but opened it soon after. At 10 am, the same guy came back to the school and shot through a class room. Soon the cops on campus caught him and shot him down.

What I don't get is, how did this kid get a gun to shoot about 50 people. They are saying 31 dead, adn 29 injured. To shoot 50 people at once it would take a pretty big gun, and they aren't easy to get. Does anyone know how hard it is actually to get a gun to shoot down 50 people at once

Actually assault weapons would do the trick, and are easily available in the U.S. What I don't get is how he was able to do TWO DIFFERENT shooting sessions. I mean you would think after the first incident the whole school would be in lock-down and crawling with cops. How could the guy pull off another round of shooting an hour later?!?
