It was an April Fool's Joke from her myspace page that got out. It could be just a joke for the fans and/or it could be that she was trying to make a social commentary in the culture and the music business by ridiculing the original song in this way.

Genius. Words cant express how low my opinion is of Fergie. ****e music and nasty as hell looking.

We used to have an expression, 'Bad Pint Syndrome'. Looks good from a distance but nasty as hell close up and would make you sick if you touched it.

As Bill Simmins (ESPN Page 2 Columnist) said, once you see her up close Fergie would not make the top 1000 female celebs in terms of looks.

Fergie, nasty looking and turning exploitative and demeaning music into cash making pop. Ripe for a parody.
