Life's Little Disappointments

Inspired by a conversation I've just had with a certain Mr Casson, this thread is dedicated to all of those disappointing little things that happen on a daily basis, that aren't big enough to go in the rant thread, but somehow really manage to get on your nerves.

Ideas we've come up with so far:

MSN telling you you have an email, and it turning out to be nothing interesting whatsoever
Getting an SMS from someone you don't like
Ordering a milkshake and it turning out to be Nesquik
Buying a CD/DVD/computer game and discovering it's not very good
Your favourite batsman looking in great touch but then getting out for 15
Watching a match as a neutral, then the team batting first gets out cheaply
Watching a TV show that's been hyped for ages and finding out it's rubbish

You any good? Ive got a mate who is the best sniper in britain and recently recieved a contract worth £1,000 a month. All the lads have been badgering on at him that he has to take us out somehwere .

I think a whole bunch of lads on this forum encounter the same problems as mentioned before.

ooohw I like it to get texts really! esp since most people know when I have exams, so it must be something pretty special aye?

Things like cricket training being cancelled, buying a PS2 game that is awful, losing small change (50p/£1 etc), breaking things and getting rinsed by fools all class.

Buying a CD & finding that the little plastic bits that hold it in place in the case are already half-busted off. Means I either have to take it back (which is such a hassle) or settle for damaged goods.
