    Revision

Aye, it is the eve of my Stage nine Maths exam, and I am stuck in the middle of revision. Just wanted to know how all the students on here revise, wheather you revise over a period of weeks or just cram it in at the 11th hour.

Good luck with that, keep revising but they arent as hard as you think they are. When I was your age they were surprisingly easy, but keep sharp.

Personally didn't revise for any exam until GCSEs, partially due to laziness and partially due to SATs being pointless.

I've been having real trouble motivating myself to revise for recent and coming exams tbh.

Can't blag a lot of my uni exams as they're all numerical so I revise like a trooper before the January ones as I have the Christmas hols but the June ones usually don't get prepared for properly as there's not enough time.

Good thing about numerical exams is that it sometimes can be quite easy to get 50% on about 6-7 hours revision but it's impossible to get higher than that without some practice.

Don't remember revising at all for year 6 SATs, did a bit for year 9 SATs, revision varied for GCSEs (i literally did none for Chemistry til the morning of the exam because i was convinced i would fail anyway and then got a C), AS Levels i semi-properly revised for, A Levels i basically didn't.

I favour the all in the last minute revision technique, but then i do Humanities stuff which is always more blaggable. Stuff like PY mentioned is definite right/wrong and so needs more work.

Haha, parallels my GCSE Chemistry scarily well, although I did mine as part of Double Science.

I went to a grammar school which did separate sciences with an option after Jan mocks to do Double in the exam. I thought i'd get a half decent Biology mark so wanted that to be separate and ended up dropping Physics because i still hadn't done the coursework for it by February of year 11.

I didn't revise one bit and got 555, proves for KS2 SATS, you don't really need to, the stuff in class should be good enough. Don't worry about them and you should do fine

I've got my GCSE maths a year early this year, i'm gonna start revisin about 2 weeks before.

I have the same lack of motivation problem basicaly, plus i'm a smart bastard if i do say so myself (which i do) so i don't have to revise that much to pass. I hope.
