Yesterday as I went through the garage cleaning stuff up, came across some old snaps. These are from a South Africa trip in 1995.

First one is riding an ostrich. I'm laughing, it isn't. Don't know why that is. Second one patting a cheetah, which was laive but looking dead.
One up on Table Mountain - amazing view from that joint; the next in the bush at sunset. Had a Wallabies training jersey on in an attempt to ingratiate my self to the rugby-mad locals in Cape Town. Didn't work. The sun glasses were apparently popular around that time.

As for the last one, I'm probably the only person who would lug a suit to Africa just in case I had a dinner to go to. Lucky I did.

And I want to state for the record that's all I did to them, before some wise-arse says something to the contrary..

Well, in my day we called it something else, but I suppose the singing metaphor works.

Look mate, I had no complaints from the ostrich, ok?

But if wfdu_ben sees this thread now, I'm branded for life.

Depends what you consider a complaint. You may be used to screaming and crying, and take it as a compliment about the size of your manhood.

Also, love what the word 'manhood' means. Our gender is so full of penis envy, it's not even funny - as that thread in CC, and the Sania Mirza thread here just proves.

Shame you didn't lug a decent tie to South Africa.

Yeah I know - bought it there. Had pictures of leopards or some such **** on it. Was the 90s though. What can I say other than sorry? I will take your pubically* berating me though Volty.

Haven't read the Sania Mirza thread tbh. Can't believe two people marrying would take that much space.

*yes, deliberate reference to a recent post in CC.

Nah, the socks are distinguished. The tie is to lure the little kids.

You must be a brave man to put your hand so close to a cheetah's mouth.
