It's called The Enemies of Reason, I think. Attacks all sorts of half-baked vaguely spiritual guff.

I'm receptive to his message, but even I found him a bit of a cock at times. One ends up feeling sorry for the charlatans he seeks to decry, which can't be the intention.

You being obviously heterosexual and speaking with a Yorkshire accent is probably a novelty for them.

Yeah, I think these stereotype work against all of us in different scenarios. When I've travelled and people hear you're Australian, they sort of expect some rough and ready attributes to come to the fore (and tbf, at about 2 am they sometimes do).

Similarly, a number of people, unfairly imo, think English guys are a cross between Mr Bean and Frank Spencer, for example:

Yeah, he's hardly a popular figure. You'll never find anything he says that it's possible to disagree with reasonably, but he can still come across as a bit too snobbish and sure of himself.

The decent person asks questions of beliefs, Dawkins says "your beliefs are horse****" (which is the truth, but noone wants to hear it). The Simon Cowell of the academic world.

Burgster strikes another seam of gold.

Get a caption and you've got yourself a charity appeal with that pic.

Hahaha, after that kind of offering it would take someone more heartless than myself to not accept your offer of friendship. Believe it or not sledgers have hearts too (excluding Merv Hughes).
