Nah, I modelled myself on a Cork-Gough blend and sadly that was an inevitable side-effect. Have tried many times to straighten it and it just doesn't work, everything goes wrong when I try.

I've always been told (when I bowled quick...) that it's much better to have a open chested action (Andy Caddick, Flintoff) to side on as it prevents injury.

Andy Caddick certainly doesn't have an open-chested action, he's classically side-on.

Truth is, it's thought to prevent injury. We have no real hard evidence, yet, that it actually does.

I've moved from a chest-on to a side-on action this year. Get absolutely masses of out swing with it on every ball.

Don't really know why. And that's a very poor angle and speed to judge the thing anyway, can't remotely say one way or the other.

Richard, Darren Gough is a "side on" bowler. Andy Caddick most certainly isn't. That youtube footage shows that his chest is pointing down towards the batsmen which makes it open chested.
