Icon14 Things that make you happy

Discuss the little things in life that make you happy.

I'll start us off:

The sound a bottle of drink makes when you open it.
The sound a can of drink makes when you open it.
Finishing some work exactly on the hour.
The noise thats created by bat hitting the ball straight out of the middle.
New car smell.
The smell of a good roast chicken.
Throwing something at the off chance you'll hit a target a fair way away, and hitting it.
Getting home late, only to find your favourite TV show hasn't started yet due to the previous program running overtime.
Properly cooked chips from KFC (i.e. aren't soggy or lacking salt).

Not to mention that feel you get from it when you do it.

Yeah.

Add to it:
Completely beating a batsmen and taking out his middle/leg stump. Even better if it's a yorker.

My list would probably revolve around alcoholic beverages. A cold beer after a long day is pretty much as good as it gets.

No first week uni tutes.
Empty roads, highways.
Fridge full of food late at night.
Bowling with a brand new ball.
Similar to the cricket bat, finding the perfect spot on a footy which lets you kick it very, very far.
Letting the phone go to the answering machine and upon hearing the message, you come to the realisation that had you picked it up, you would have been talking to an annoying relative for the better part of an hour.

Taking a good catch/making a good save/doing something else gun in sports
A cold shower after a game/training on a hot day

Waking up the first day into a 14-week summer holiday at uni.

Unfortunately, won't have that this year but the feeling shall live on.

-Being with the people closest to you i.e. Girlfriend/Boyfriend, Mates or Family.
-Listening to a really good song that gives you an almost euphoric feeling.
-When you wke up and realise that you still have an hour to sleep in bed.
-Cold Side of the pillow.
-Partying/generally getting drunk*
-Taking a few wickets when the team looks down and out, to make the match a more balanced affair.
-Scoring a boundary (nb-im a tail ender, dont score much runs)
-When you jump off something tall and you get that weird feeling in your stomach.
-Nights, with no homework/coursework, that you can spend chilling out.

*im not an alcoholic.
