Hallelujah - Which version do you prefer?

Not sure if I'm going to get any responses for this, but I'll give it a shot. So I was watching a repeat episode of "Scrubs" (My Old Lady) tonight, and it had one of my all time favorite songs in the background. The song is "Hallelujah". As most people know, it was originally recorded by Leonard Cohen in his 1984 album "Various Positions". Since then it has been covered by numerous artists. Which version of the song do you prefer? I personally love the Jeff Buckley version the most. He performed it with haunting emotion. Perhaps his tragic death adds more emotion for me when I listen to the song. Well, below are some You Tube links to some famous version of the song. Would be interested to know what version is preferred by the CW audience. (Note: There are various live performances uploaded on You Tube, I'm just linking the ones I liked best).

Jeff Buckley live in Chicago

Leonard Cohen's version

John Cale's version

Allison Crowe's version

Rufus Wainwright's version

Buckley for me too.

Rufus Wainwright also covered it, and that was used in the Shrek soundtrack.

There's another thread exactly like this.

Leonard's is my favourite version, though there are a number of good ones. Rufus has done better Cohen covers than his version of Hallelujah.

Yeah, although that was only comparing Rufus vs Buckley.

Rufus Wainwright's IMO. Just over Buckley. Cohen's isn't too good IMO, did a great job of writing it though!

Prefer Rufus over Buckley, despite his stunning voice. Which is the one that was used on the oc? Terrible, imo.

BTW, that was a good episode of Scrubs. Which version of the song was in that episode?
