    Fuel!

i expect most people from the UK will know what i'm on about, but is anyone affected by it? fortunately i filled my car up on monday so i've not been caught up with any of this contaminated fuel *touch wood*, i hear that the only safe place to get fueled up currently is from BP as they dont import anything, anyone had any experience of this? or heard anything interesting?

Yeah, I'm hoping I won't need to put any more in for a while, having filled-up last week...

It hasn't affected where I live thankfully but I don't drive anyway.

I'm not saying this is the case here, but does anyone else think it'd be surefire way of bringing this country to a halt for terrorists? There's already people panicking and stuff and this is only like 1,000 cars out of about 10,000,000 in the SE.

Look at Hitler's Germany in the late stages of the war, went back to horse and carts. That was 60+ years ago, would be utterly devastating to destroy our oilsupply, would be even worse for America.

First i heard of this was when my girlfriend told me last night, as we were pulling OUT of the tesco forecourt. Y'know, telling me a few minutes earlier might have been a better idea.....

Not that i'd notice if it messed my car up, never works properly anyway

That's a very interesting and worrying thought.

You'd love to walk from Morpeth to Newcastle every day, TBH?
