Snowing fairly heavily in Soton also. Transport is shot. V irritating.

Quite a contrast to the blizzard right now in London.

Apparently it rained in Sydney, must've been a welcome relief. Probably humid as **** after though.

Long old drive in heavy snow today from Cambridgeshire. Was coming down thick there as I left and the streets are the same colour as Danielle Westbrook's nostrils here

It's absolutely stunning in Auckland today for our Anniversary Day... as I look sadly out through the office window.

Think of the money...

Absolutely brutal out here. First big snow storm since 2011. Car got jammed in the snow three times on my way back from work. Snow is up to knee high now, with no end in sight.

In other news, Deval Patrick, Massachusetts governor, threatens jail for those caught driving in Nemo | News | National Post.

Been following it on the news here. Looks pretty awesome. Kinda.

Nothing quite so exciting here, it's just sleeting, and thoroughly miserable outside. Snowing further north, apparently.

Yeah, it's all fun as long as you're not driving or facing a power outage.

A few of us even decided to bring out our sticks for some good old street hockey. With the relatively warmer Winters the last few years, it just didn't feel the same. Until now, that is.
