Boring weather. Not warm, but a tad cold.

Haha probably not a bad idea. A mate of mine had an entertaining exchange with someone working at Heathrow over their working holiday visa too. The officer was concerned when he told her he didn't know all the rules for working with a WHV. He told her he'd worry about the rules when he was actually looking for work. She wasn't happy and he said 'Are you offering me a job?". When she said no he said "right, well I'll worry about the rules when I'm actually thinking about applying for a job". They let him in.

After a 25 hour flight is the wrong time to be asking stupid questions really.

Surprised they let him in, really. British people are ****s. Or at least the ones on airport security.

In England they ask questions, anywhere else on the continent they just look at your passport, shrug their shoulders and stamp it and off you go. Or sometimes they don't check it at all.

Haha, I'd say British airport people >> American airport security. They make you look like absolute fools. Although I did find it odd that I was the only one stopped at Glasgow out of about a dozen people to get asked about my purpose here after I had already made it past customs.
    RIP Craigos

Yeah, either that or he was lying to me. He was a very dry character though and sounded like Steve Irwin, so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Yeah not something that happens as much anymore in at least Chicago from what I hear. At least the Scotsman was nice about it, even though I could tell he was getting frustrated when I kept giving him puzzled looks due to his heavy Scottish accent.

    Lots of pollution then?

That is the one thing I can't stand about major Asian cities.
