As mentioned in the other thread, The Temper Trap were awesome on Sunday night.
And the support band was one of the best I've seen in a while. A NZ band with a ton of potential. Here's their most well-known song: YouTube - The Naked And Famous - Young Blood They had tremendous on-stage energy as well. Definitely recommend checking them out if they pop up in any festivals or anything you might be going to. |

Was excited enough about Guns N' Roses which is 25 days away, if anyone is counting (which I am of course not)
And then today they go and announce three UK arena dates for October. I'll defo be at one, maybe two. If you lot wanna make a donation maybe I can make it three

Can't wait to go and see G'n'R at Leeds Fest.
lol jk I'd rather see Delphic, LCD Soundsystem, Yeasayer, Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix, The Big Pink and Mumford and Sons. All on the same stage. All on the same night. Gonna be amazing. |

How's this for audience participation then chaps? I know for a fact that at both Leeds and Reading they had to tone down the crowd pickup speakers because everyone was so loud that it would distort the sound for TV coverage.
YouTube - Reading Festival 2010 Mumford And Sons The Cave Doesn't get a whole lot better than this. Except @ Leeds obv

That's from the second night so I'm assuming they knew they were coming that time around. I was there on the first night and the band seemed very surprised at the time. We also had a bloke hurling a two litre bottle of orange juice around the stage. Was awesome. |

Was absolutely phenomenal. Possibly a top fiver. If you get the chance to see them, take it. ****, if the second night tomorrow wasn't sold out, I'd go see them again in a flash.
The crowd sang along to all the songs, and the band members were loving it. It really was a great night. Setlist, for those familiar with the songs: All Of This Punching In A Dream A Wolf In Geek's Clothing (extended) Spank The Source The Sun + a minute or so of a cover of something, but I haven't figured out what it was Frayed Eyes No Way Jilted Lovers (extended) Girls Like You Young Blood Dadada Crazy? Yes! Dumb? No! (very heavy and moody Mint Chicks cover. Have to say I liked it far more than the original) Last edited by _Ed_; 15-10-2010 at 06:58 AM. |

BSP on Friday, should be previewing their new album stuff, at a better venue than the last time I saw them as well. Got the new EP last week, couple of great songs and a couple of so so. Love Zeus though
